Greg joined Professional Investment Services (PIS) in late 1998 and has gained extensive experience in the industry for the past sixteen years. Since joining PIS, he became a member of the "High Achievers Club" within the first twelve months. Returning from the National Conference, which in 2001 took place in Bali, he brought home the "Platinum Club Award", which is an award for reaching the highest possible level of achievement within the Professional Investment Services network. As part of the award, Greg and his wife Anne were invited by HSBC in Hong Kong to their headquarters.
Greg is an Associate Member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and is a Certified Financial Planner. He has an Associate Diploma of Accountancy from the University of South Australia and is an Associate of the National Institute of Accountants. Community involvements include being an active member of the Rotary Club at Alexandra Headland. He was also a former member and Secretary Treasurer of the Stirling Chamber of Commerce.
Previously, Greg worked in the banking industry for 16 years. It was during these years that he developed an understanding of money matters. His interest leaned more and more towards the investment side of banking and being able to genuinely and effectively help people grow and protect their assets. The services and products the banks offered were very limited and did not reflect the kind of personal service he wished to provide. He therefore changed career paths towards financial planning. Greg is also an accredited Mortgage Broker and Authorised Representative of Professional Mortgage Providers.
Greg moved from South Australia to the Sunshine Coast in 1998.
Greg and his wife Ann have four children aged between 15 - 32. He and Anne live on a beautiful semi-rural property in Diddillibah. Greg balances his busy career and Rotary duties with gardening, which he finds very relaxing. Greg very much enjoys spending quality time with Anne and their kids, socialising with friends, spending time on the beach, going for walks and the odd game of Golf.
